The 141 Teams Giving Back

What does giving back mean? To all members of the Leo Robotics program giving back doesn't mean fancy presents, rather it means giving our time and heart to the Cedarville teams. As volunteers we prepare next era's roboticists for the next level of competition and beyond. We hope to see the young of Cedarville learn and grow from their experiences in VEX Robotics. That is what giving back means to the 141 teams.

141B team members Killian and Lauren volunteer at Cedarville's practices to help them learn and be a good team. Lauren helps with Cedarville's Engineering Notebook to prepare them for the Leo Elementary and Middle School notebooks, and give them a competitive standpoint. Killian helped them learn to code an auronomous program for their robot using the Graphical Robot C programming language, along with picture taking for their Engineering Notebook and timing matches. And not only in practices, both Lauren and Killian coach at Cedarville's competitions. They aid them on when and where to go for matches, who their alliance teams are, and help in so many more ways.

On January 25th, 2020, members from 141A and B will be volunteering their time to assist in Cedarville's VEX IQ Elementary Qualifier. We greatly appreciate giving back to the school where some of our members got their start in the VEX Robotics program. In addition, all five of our coaches will be at the competition January 25th. This includes Mr. and Mrs. Babb, who coach at Cedarville, along with Mrs. Kennedy will help the Cedarville teams, Mr. Foulk will be the head referee, and Mr. Kennedy will be a judge. For that day we will be resetting boards for the Elementary teams. We want to convey just how important giving back is not just to Cedarville, but to all the teams at the competition that day.
